Climbers of the Year 2022

The most important climbing and mountaineering achievements of the year 2022 by Czech Mountaineering Association were announced at the International Mountaineering Film Festival in Teplice nad Metují. Congratulations to all the winners, but of course the SINGING ROCK team made us the most happy.

Martin Stráník received an Honorable Mention in the bouldering category for Bulbasaur 8C (Czech Republic, Hornosvatecká vrchovina, Sklapsko)

Lucie Hrozová  won Honorable Mention in the bouldering category for Prehistorik 8B/B+ (Czech Republic, Labák)

Lumír Fajkoš, our colleague from sales department, won Honorable Mention in the Traditional Climbing category for the belayed solo of the Katarzia 10- route (Volija Tower in the High Tatras)

Pepa Šindel  got a Special Mention for  Chiroptera 9a+ (Slovakia, Súľov). This is the second repetition of the route, the first Czech climb, and the second youngest climber ever to climb the 9a+ route.
