An energy absorber with a sewn-in lanyard with an eye in the middle to shorten the fall arrest system. Suitable for work situations where any metal element on the lanyard is undesired. Designed for users with a maximum weight of 150 kg (including equipment).

  • all types of 16 mm lanyards have been successfully tested for horizontal use and the resulting simulated fall over an edge (RFU 11.074)
  • all types meet the additional requirements for extreme loading of lanyards (RFU 11.063)
  • the energy absorber is designed for a higher load, the user’s weight including equipment can be up to 150 kg (RFU 11.062)
  • the energy absorber is designed to safely catch users in the weight range of 50 kg to 150 kg
  • ideal for workers on structures, ladders and brace masts
  • the base material of the energy absorber is HMPE with two sewn yellow polyester eyes
  • a fall indicator is sewn onto the energy absorber to allow easy control of activation
  • the maximum active length is 150 cm
  • the energy absorber is enclosed in a durable molded cover made of polyester fabric with a hook-and-loop closure
  • an EN 362 connector can be attached to the free end of the lanyard, or you can choose from commonly available variants with lanyards terminated by sewn-in connectors.
  • marked with a unique serial number for easy traceability and inspection.
