Singing Rock Industry Workshop Slovakia 2012
On the premises of Faculty of Electrical Engineering - High Voltage Laboratory in Bratislava, we organized a
specialized workshop on industrial climbing and rescue from heights for professionals. It was mostly product training, where OHS instructors from Polygon Singing Rock team introduced complete equipment produced by Singing Rock for workers at height, rescuers and arborists.
The first part was devoted to Singing Rock products and the second part to its practical use. In practical examples, there were several most commonly used techniques in the field of work at height as well as the use of Singing Rock PPE for fall protection and positioning when moving on rooftops and constructions, and the possibility of using evacuation equipment produced by Tractel and ActSafe.
During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to try Singing Rock products in practice. Great attention was aroused by a demonstration of arborist techniques and at the end a practical demonstration of rescue of an injured electrician from a high voltage mast.
Singing Rock along with the training centre for work at height and above depth rescue Polygon is now preparing a workshop with similar content for professionals in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. We look forward to seeing you there.
