Lucie Hrozová, Bafomet M14

104858Lucie Hrozová, SINGING ROCK Climbing Team member, added on her score the second M14, route Bafomet, on the second February weekend in Tatras, Poland. It's the first female ascent on this drytool route and fourth in order.

The route is located in a cave near a southern Polish town Zakopane. The thirty meters long line with treacherous holds, the first M14 in Poland, goes on the ceiling of the cave and must be climbed under artificial light.

Lucie decided to go there because the stop of UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup 2014 in Italian Rabenstein was cancelled due to avalanche threat. We call it a well spent free weekend! :-)

Congratulations, Lucie!

Here you can watch a video from the first half of the ascent (after that battery died).
