Holeček & Mandula, Gasherbrum I attempt

126103In August 2016 Czech mountaineers Marek Holeček and Ondra Mandula attempted to climb the southwest face of Gasherbrum I (8068 m) in alpine style. The guys were able to reach 7800 m, than they were stopped by bad weather and spent several days in the death zone. Luckily at last they managed to escape and go back to BC.
