HandiCamp 2013
SINGING ROCK in cooperation with Teiresias invites you on the weekend event designed especially (but not only) for climbers and
mountaineers with disabilities, HandiCamp VII. This time we will meet in south Bohemia at Taborské skály near the town Tábor.
Date: weekend 31st May – 2nd June 2013, event will take place in any weahter conditions
Location: climbing area Táborské skály near town Tábor. On Friday 31st May 2013 at 7 p.m. we will meet in the campground Harrachovka.
Transportation: Arrival individual, for those registered in advance we will try to coordinate it somehow (picking up at train station Tábor – lift by a car, etc.)
Acommodation: campground Harrachovka, in tents, WC, showers, own tent and sleeping bag necessary. ( price CZK 40/person/night, tent CZK 30/person/night, car CZK 20/night, shower CZK 25/4 min.)
Food: your own, for those interested there will be a possibility of a common dinner on Saturday evening (to be specified)
Gear: sport clothing and shoes to any kind of weather. There is no good and bad weather, only good and bad equipment... If you have your own climbing equipment, please, take it with you otherwise there will be possibility to borrow harnesses, helmets, via ferrata sets, climbing shoes - limited
Schedule:
Friday: meeting in the campground Harrachovka at 7 p.m., introducing the organizers, programme, the climbing crags etc.
Saturday: climbing in Prvni lom crag, via ferrata. UIAGM guide metodology, rescue at via ferrata, multipitch climbing etc.
Sunday: via Tyrolian traverze we will ge to Jelní skok climbing crag, UIAGM guide metodology, rescue at multipitch climbing
