Felipe Camargo, Era Vella 9a

113871After a bouldering period Brazilian SINGING ROCK athlete Felipe Camargo is coming back to sport climbing. His almost three-months climbing trip to Europe confirms that. The plan is clear - Felipe wants to climb, climb and climb and also participate the IFSC World Cup in Lead 2015.

Felipe´s first stop was in Spain. There he climbed with his SR Climbing Team co-member Citro (Carlos Logroño Viscasillas) and other friends. The Spanish stay was very fruitful. Felipe showed that he is in good form and after five days and eleven attempts he repeated Chris Sharma´s route Era Vella 9a (5.14d) in Margalef on 22 June 2015.

After that Felipe moved from Spain to Austria where he continues climbing and training for the World Cup. The first competition will take place in Chamonix, France, on 10-12 July.

IFSC World Cup Lead 2015 - calendar:
  • 10-12 July: Chamonix (FRA)
  • 17-18 July: Briancon (FRA)
  • 31 July - 1 August: Imst (AUS)
  • 21-22 August: Stavanger (NOR)
  • 26-27 September: Puurs (BEL)
  • 17-18 October: Wujiang (CHN)
  • 14-15 November: Kranj (SLO)
Felipe intents to participate the first four competitions of the series (then he will probably finish his Europen trip at the end of August). Root for Felipe with us!
