Dušan "Stoupa" Janák, Pohádkové sny 11-

106508After the ascent of the King Overhang M12 in the Tatras (with Jan Straka) SINGING ROCK athlete Dušan "Stoupa" Janák began with a spring conditioning on training rocks. At first in his region of the Moravian Karst, Czech Republic, he sent boulder Kilián 8A. After that he started to climb with the rope and in May he managed to climb Pohádkové sny 11-.

The route was made by Czech climber Pavel Kořán in 2006. Very known Czech climber Adam Ondra made the first repeat in 2007 and then the route had to wait long time for another conqueror. This second repeat of Pohádkové sny is Stoupa´s first eleven route in his twenty-year long climbing career. Who knows... maybe experience is sometimes more useful than maximum strength when climbing overhangs.

Stoupa, you are the champion! Congratulations.
