Hrozová + Matějec = Jedi Master M11

105490At the beginning of March 2014 SINGING ROCK climbers Mirek Matějec and Lucie Hrozová visited the Aosta Valley, Italy, where climbed together on sight Jedi Master M11.

From Lucie’s report we know that in some places easy going climbing was changed by hard core passages, where they used all their strengths. Furthermore pieces of ice were falling down during the ascent. But the biggest drama came on the descent when Lucie was already staying on the ground under the wall and Míra was moving on the route. An avalanche consist of tons of ice and snow started to run down from the top. Thank goodness, a combination of fortune and quick reactions averted the bad end. Lucie escaped the avalanche like Usain Bolt and Mirek was situated under a small overhang at the critical moment!
