What do you enjoy about climbing?
Since the first moment on the wall I loved the connexion with the nature and the rocks. I enjoyed the way of moving and finding combinations of moves in outdoor routes. Climbing places offer such a connexion and necessity to be totally focused, and I also liked this deep connexion.

How did you start with climbing?
My father started climbing when I was 7 years old and so I was going outdoors with him and families of friends of his. I loved playing first with other children, finding animals, etc. Then I started to climb sometimes and more and more.

Other interests?
I love music, researching things in general, travelling and feeling free in the nature.

Favourite climbing area?
All the areas are unique in a way but I enjoy being in Siurana a lot, Rocklands, Ticino, Ceüse and Bishop

The most impressive climbing experience?
Always trying to find new challenges to surpass myself, especially in routes and boulders that has not been previously done by women.

Plans for the future?
I plan to keep doing what I have been doing with more knowledge about it. I am finishing my PHD in sociology, accumulating information, at different levels, about how climbing is evolving in this constant period of transformations of the sport. I want to regroup all the knowledge I have accumulated in order to bring valuable influence in the community, taking into consideration different variables. I would like for example help people (especially women) to open themselves to multiple possibilities they have, breaking free of the limitations our social environment led us to create in the past.

Climbing in 100 years?
That’s a tricky question. Maybe more of a dissociation of two aspects of the sport: outdoor vs indoor?
