Ondra Šnopl

Ondra is a climbing enthusiast with a drill as an extension of his arm. Thanks to him, Singing Rock ventured into projects involving permanent fall protection systems. He's a true driving force, with more routes designed across Czechia than you could count – whether on rooftops or on rock faces.


"I've been working at Singing Rock for about 8 years. What I enjoy most is the group of people and the overall relaxed atmosphere. Of our products, ropes are probably what has passed through my hands the most – and I use them myself on the rocks. My absolute favorite piece, though, is the ROCKET harness – a piece that even NASA wouldn't be ashamed of!

I love spending time on the rocks, whether on local granite in the Jizerské hory or on sandstone in the surrounding areas. When there's a chance, I like to do first ascents. I also enjoy trail running – whether it's shorter hill runs or long 70 km mountain traverses."
