Martin Jech

Martin is our sales rep for Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Young blood, driving things forward here like a bulldozer. A language genius, a climber and a routesetter for the pros.

"I’ve been at Singing Rock for six years now, and sometimes I’m surprised at how time flies. Why? Because I couldn’t find a better job that combines my field of study (Sinology), my interests (the vertical world and rope access) and my hobby (climbing).

Although my main job is to sell our products, and I mostly hold devices for communicating with customers (a phone or laptop), all the climbing and routesetting I do means I quite often test products for our development team. For climbing, my favourite is the Onyx harness, and for work, it’s the JACK descender, which I’ve been using since the 3D-printed prototype stage."
