What do you like at Singing Rock?
I can simply sum it up by saying that Singing Rock and everything around it has been an important part of my life since 1995, whether it's the interesting and ever new challenges of work, friends and colleagues, the opportunity for self-fulfilment or activities outside of work.
What do you like about climbing?
I'm not actively climbing nowadays, I used to do sand climbing sometime between 1995 and 2005, but my positive relation to heights, rocks, mountains and nature in general has remained.
What are your other hobbies?
I have had an interest in flying and flying machines since my early teens, it's also connected to military history in general. When the opportunity comes, I like to hike, walk or bike. But my main interest is my family, currently especially our youngest daughter.
Describe your perfect day.
A warm spring or autumn day, when we go for a nice hike or a trek in the mountains with family or friends, ideally combined with a train journey and a stop for a beer and fresh bread with lard and onions...
Your motto?
To paraphrase my favourite Forrest Gump: " Life is like a box of chocolates, when you wake up in the morning you never know what kind of day you're about to unwrap..."
