Jirka, Honza and Lenka
After a bit of a break, we are continuing our series of mini profiles of the people who work at Singing Rock. Get to know our team. Jirka and Honza are in charge of the materials warehouse we produce from, and Lenka is our patient accountant who can tame any invoice and brings order and calm to our numbers.
Jirka Lebruška
Jirka is an engine that never stops running. He has been with Singing Rock for about 20 years. He worked in the finished-product warehouse for a long time and now works in the materials warehouse. He is reliable, solid as a rock, and works at full throttle. If you want something done, call Lebruška and you'll get it done without any stress. 
"It’s hard to say which product has passed through my hands the most, and it’s probably not even possible to determine. I admire all our products, and by extension the entire SR brand, when I see how much interest there is in our products all around the world.When I’m not at work, I do sports – football, tennis, running, cycling, cross‑country skiing, darts... I enjoy going on hikes in the mountains and in peaceful nature. All these activities help me recharge in an active and joyful way."
Honza Klápště
Honza joined Singing Rock in 1999, right after finishing secondary school. He worked his way up through production from the ground up and gradually grew into the role of head of production material preparation in both Semily and Poniklá. He is impossible to overlook – not only thanks to his stature, which makes him one of the biggest people – if not on the whole planet, then certainly in Singing Rock and the surrounding area.His nickname “Little Honza”, given to him by one of Singing Rock’s former owners, the Belgian Jan Goddefroy, is a bit ironic. Honza is big not only in terms of his build, but above all in terms of his heart. He is always ready to help those who need advice or who simply cannot manage to lift a hundred‑kilo crate. His attitude and perspective make him an indispensable part of Singing Rock’s production. Without “Little Honza”, it just wouldn’t feel the same around here.
"Which of our products have passed through my hands the most? After all this time, I can no longer say, as I simply don’t remember anymore. 😊 From time to time, I also take part in product development – my contribution lies in the fact that, given my build, unusually large sizes are tested on me… 😊 Outside of work, my activities include working in the garden, shooting, and working at cultural events not only in the town of Semily." "I have been working at Singing Rock for 25 years – I am one of the first five employees who started working at the company's later headquarters in Poniklá, so I am kind of part of the furniture...Over my career in the company, I have worked at more or less every department except the sewing workshop, but now, in accounting, only paperwork has been passing through my hands for quite some time. But I think I can be proud of all the products, because when necessary, they fulfill the most important function – they save lives."
"Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren, gardening, cooking and baking, unwinding with handicrafts and books, or with my friends over a good glass of wine. I balance my sedentary job with movement – walking from anywhere to anywhere or working as a children’s aerobics instructor. I love discovering both our own country and places abroad.
And when I want to be completely on my own, I disappear underground into caves (and this is also where I meet Singing Rock – we use speleo and work products there). Caves brought my husband into my life many years ago, and a few years back, thanks to caving expeditions, they also introduced me to the magical world of distant Georgia, a place I love returning to for both the friends and the stunning landscape."
