Do you want to meet the people who work in SINGING ROCK? Then you're at the right address. We're just starting the second season of our That’s us series, where we'll introduce you to the people who make the equipment for your vertical activities.Here's today's trio – Hanka, Tomáš and Radek. A quality controller, a technologist and a purchaser, our three colleagues from the metal fabrication plant in Sudkov. Each of them contributes in their own way to the fact that we supply the world with first-class hardware for climbing and work at height.
Hanka Macková
Hanka has been with us for almost two years and immediately jumped into a challenging role - she took over the baton from the long-time head of production quality. Thanks to her openness, curiosity and easy-going nature, she quickly fit into the team and is now an indispensable part of it. When she's not supervising quality in production, she's traveling or climbing. She often puts our products to the test herself.

Tomáš, the technologist, the engineer, the main pillar of our production. Tomáš joined us when hardware manufacturing in Sudkov was just getting started, and our portfolio mainly consisted of ice line – ice axes and crampons. Despite coming from a completely different industry and suddenly having the entire production on his shoulders, he tackled every challenge head-on. Thanks to him, our Sudkov plant now makes products that in many ways can compete with the top players in the industry.Even though he is now responsible for the entire hardware production and has more than enough on his plate, he’s always ready to lend a hand in the workshop and never leaves anyone hanging. He is simply the right technologist in the right place!

If Tomáš is the idea behind our metal fabrication, Radek is its heart. He is responsible for logistics, purchasing and associated processes. For example, he procures the aluminium for our forgings, the stainless steel sheet for the hanger plates, but also the last rivet for the crampons. And he sometimes has a hard job... because it's not easy to find quality long-term suppliers of the special materials we use for our products.Luckily, Radek is a great guy, always on the same page with suppliers, and thanks to his positive attitude, he can sweep any problem off the table in no time. And among colleagues, Radek is a big-hearted fellow who doesn't spoil any fun.
