Training POLYGON SINGING ROCK
In our effort to significantly improve the level of education and training of work carried out at height and above depth, SINGING ROCK was the first in the Czech Republic to decide to build a multi-functional POLYGON with a multimedia classroom.
Practical training includes also elements taken from the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association IRATA together with the International Society of Arboriculture ISA and adapted to the Czech legislation. The training POLYGON in Poniklá has a wide range of simulated space, such as movement on the roof with a variable slope, a tree, antenna masts, a silo, facade scaffolding, high voltage poles and other construction solutions suitable for practicing the movement at height and above depth.
Training POLYGON in Poniklá offers several types of training and services
Basic training
lasts one day. Participants get acquainted with the legislation of the Czech Republic. They also undergo basic training of securing basic movement at heights and above depth including training of extrication in case of collision. This training is suitable particularly for: short-term activities secured by collective protection elements; use of permanent securing; use of fall‑arrest system; creating basic safety chains.
OHS training with industrial technique
introduces other procedures not included in the basic training, especially as far as the practical part is concerned. The length is 16 hours and during this course the participants get better understanding of the rope technique and its approaches. They acquire full control of PPE and their replacement in case of an exceptional event. They also learn to evacuate themselves as well as other persons at height and above depth using PPE. The training is suitable particularly for: short- and long-term activities secured by collective protection elements; use of permanent securing; selection and design of suitable anchor systems; use of a fall-arrest system; creation of basic safety chains; movement on the rope – vertical and horizontal; activities requiring tying basic knots.
OHS training with special technique
introduces other most advanced procedures not included in the previous trainings. The length is 32 hours and during this course the participants get acquainted with highly specific techniques. They learn how to perfectly handle PPE and their replacement in case of an exceptional event. Upon finishing the course, they become specialists in activities carried out at height and above depth. The training is suitable particularly for: short- and long-term activities secured by collective protection elements; use of permanent securing; selection and design of suitable anchoring systems; use of a fall‑arrest system; creation of basic safety chains; movement on the rope – vertical and horizontal; activities requiring tying special knots and use of special rope equipment; rescue operations; special evacuation techniques.
OHS training with special arborist technique
is a basic theoretical and advanced practical training for arborists using special (arborist) technique to safeguard against falls from a height into a loose depth, falling through or collapsing. The length is 32–40 hours and the participants acquire the most advanced experience and skills in tree access. They become familiar with the use of all necessary PPE including other accessories and become certified specialists able to offer their services at the highest level.
Training for instructors and operators of rope parks
lasts one day. The participants get acquainted with the Czech legislation in force as well as equipment of rope parks. The course also includes practical training of rope‑park operation and several types of rescue (evacuations) and securing of movement at height and above depth. The training is suitable particularly for: operation of a rope park.
Training of persons responsible for carrying out periodic inspections of PPE
Upon finishing this course, the participants are able to carry out periodic inspections of personal protective equipment. They get acquainted with the latest information and recommendations of the manufacturer. The training is focused mainly on: production technology; technical specifications of materials; resistance to external influences; chemicals; mechanical and other wear, etc. The focus lies in qualified evaluation of capacity of PPE for further use. The information is designed according to relevant CSN EN standards.
Revision training
is an obvious component of a complex service where people trained need to maintain their professional competence at the highest level. At the same time, the revision training is the most valuable appreciation for our team of trainers. Trainees who come back to us mean that our job was well done.
Training of persons in proper use, handling and storage of PPE
is designed for all those wishing to get acquainted with PPE. In particular: kinds of PPE and their proper treatment and storage; possibilities of use; proper handling; comparison of different kinds and types of PPE. The training also includes practical demonstration and trying of PPE.
