Training
The company Singing Rock, s.r.o. decided to establish multifunction polygon with the multimedia classroom as the first one in the Czech Republic in order to improve the level of the rope access work training. After gathering some information and experience from other countries in which such training polygons are commonly used, the working team of several members was set up to ensure the preparation and implementation of this facility.
SINGING ROCK has been operating in the area of PPE for more than 16 years and during that time it has risen to become one of the world prominent manufacturer of the personal protective equipment. These circumstances made us focus on enlarging our portfolio by a training facility. Such facility should be useful for the public benefit, education and particularly for the safety of PPE users. This training centre represents a comprehensive form of first rate education in the area of rope access methods for work at a height.
The first training of the workers was held at the end of summer 2008. The participants got acquainted with the rope access methods and its equipment. Understanding all the amendments to legislation in the Czech Republic relating to the rope access work and work at a height is a part of the theory. As a part of the practical training there are elements taken over from Irata, the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association, and adapted in consideration of the Czech legislation.
The training POLYGON in Poniklá involves wide range of simulated situations such as: move on the roof with a variable declension, a tree, antenna masts, silo, scaffolding, high voltage masts and other construction suitable for practicing of working at a height.
