31st Mountaineering Film Festival in Teplice
Another year has passed and again at the end of summer comes "FESŤÁK" - 31st International Mountaineering Film Festival in Teplice nad Metují, Czech Republic, 28th - 31st August 2014.In addition to films you can watch in the cinema and school, there will be a rich accompanying programme in the park and the main square, concerts, Czech cup bouldering contest, competitions and more. As usual, SINGING ROCK has prepared fun activities and a few competitions: Czech Speedline Cup, Crack and Soft DryTool. You can also look forward to new top rope DryTool climbing and Aerial Silk exhibitions and workshops. (accompanying SINGING ROCK programme - in Czech)

Come to the park (next to the football pitch) from Thursday till Saturday. Competitions with valuable prizes are awaiting you. Magnesium and TRIOP climbing shoes freely available.
(Parents are responsible for their small climbers.)
SINGING ROCK CRACK
Crack climbing is the part of sandstone climbing and SINGING ROCK has probably created one of the world’s first mobile simulators of crack climbing with an adjustable crack width. Top Rope belaying, harnesses and crack gloves can be borrowed. On Friday 29/08/2014 from 14:00 to 16:00 there will be the CRACK competition for prizes worth CZK 10,000. Climbing in climbing shoes and gloves. Belaying by TR. The fastest time is measured. The fastest 5 men and 5 women will get to the final. You can try the crack climbing from Thursday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 in the park (next to the football pitch).
SINGING ROCK SPEED SLACKLINE
Speed and style. Years of sacrifice and hard work. Exhibition and the best tricks. On Friday 29/08/2014 from 9:30 to 12:30 there will be the SINGING ROCK SPEEDLINE competition (part of the Czech Speedline Cup). It will be organized in a standard manner: qualification with time measured and then play-off grid leading to the final. There will be valuable prizes from SINGING ROCK. The slacklines will be freely available for walking, sitting, jumping, etc. from Thursday till Sunday. Organized and prepared by slack.cz
SOFT DRYTOOLWhen the winter asks what you did in the summer…
A well-known saying that also applies to supporters of ice climbing and drytooling. SINGING ROCK is preparing a new collection of sports ice axes and has developed a unique training ice axe to train on a bouldering wall. Come to try soft drytooling on the SINGING ROCK bouldering wall from Thursday till Saturday and if you do well, you can take part in the SOFT DRYTOOL competition on Saturday 30/08/2014 from 12:00 to 14:00. The participants will traverse around the bouldering wall and the time and the furthest place the climber reaches will be measured. Prizes worth CZK 30,000. Route setters: Lucka Hrozová and Mira Matějec.
AERIAL SILKDo you want to improve physical condition and spatial orientation or stretch your body? Then come to the park on Friday 29/08/2014 at 12:30 and on Saturday 30/08/2014 at 14:00. There will be an aerial silk exhibition and subsequent mini workshop under the direction of Katka Lišková.
TOP ROPE DRYTOOLFor those of you who likes winter and climbing with ice axes we have prepared SINGING ROCK DryTool Board and climbing with Bandits. You can come to the park to try top rope climbing with Bandit ice axes from Friday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00.
MOUNTAINSHOP STANDClimbing stuff for very attractive festival prices on sale in the square from Thursday till Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00 and on Sunday from 9:00 to 15:00.
